Shoppers returned to Westfield Southcenter mall Sunday to get a jump on their holiday spending, many oblivious to the shooting there a day earlier that killed 16-year-old Daiquan L. Jones of Seattle, and hospitalized his friend Jermaine McGowan, also 16.
Police said they have good evidence and witnesses who have helped in attempts to identify the gunman, who remained at large Sunday. They expect to announce an arrest in the shooting soon, a spokesman said.
